Day 6

Tonight we finally watched Labyrinth for the first time since moving in together. Oh, the glorious, glittery, goodness! Muppets, no-reason plots, David Bowie, 80's music and clothing, what's not to like?!

Since it's Saturday, we were also able to have our first Apartment Breakfast. (Usually we're not all awake at the same time.) Beth and Erin made banana pancakes, then pulled Grosland out of her bed to come and eat with them. They each drank straight out of their respective gallons (Beth's has a blue lid, Grosland's a green lid, and Erin's a red lid).

Grosland is still possessed by Dragon Age. It is doing terrible things to her; she's a crazed mind-zombie for that game. Today she saved the Circle of Magi, bought lots of presents for Alistair (so he'll like her again), and was betrayed by her dearest friend Leske. It was pretty traumatic. She really almost cried.

Today was actually an important day in real life for Erin. She's been taking a voice-dance-acting class for the last four months, and today she performed in their showcase. It's a very prestigious *coughcoughexpensivecoughcough* group she performed with - they filmed the performances and are sending them off as audition tapes to Nickelodeon, Disney, and other big showbiz people.

Note: Because this performance was a recording session, it lasted FOREVER. Grosland went to watch Erin's awesomeness (Beth had to be sad at work instead) and the pair of them snuck out soon after Erin finished her number. She sang "King of Anything" by Sara Bareilles, and it was fantastic. Cheers for being talented and successful, Erin!

I don't know how you can watch that movie without thinking of Dr. Crusher.

Nice to know they drag you out of bed for food. We usually just let you sleep and starve.

Best wishes to Erin. Sorry you missed it, Beth.
